PADDA MEP Services delivered a comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical installation package for Barking Gurdwara, providing modern building services infrastructure for a large religious and community facility. The project incorporated renewable energy technologies, advanced life-safety systems and intelligent mechanical controls to create a safe, sustainable and energy-efficient environment for visitors and the wider community.
This project required close coordination with the design team and multiple construction trades throughout delivery. As a place of worship and community gathering, the building services needed to support large occupancy loads, flexible community use, and the highest standards of fire and life safety – all while integrating renewable technology to reduce the building’s long-term running costs.
Through close collaboration with the design team and construction specialists, we delivered a high-performing building services solution that prioritises safety, reliability and ease of maintenance. The completed installation supports the facility’s long-term operational needs while contributing towards improved energy efficiency and sustainability, in line with UK community building energy efficiency guidance.
